Cheese Pakoda | Indian Cheese Fritters | Indian Street Food


Rains and fried food go hand in hand and what better than a cheesy pakoda to enjoy in this beautiful wet weather.




Ingredients:

  • 4-5 Cheese Cubes
  • 1 cup Chickpea Flour
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste
  • Coriander Leaves
  • ½ glass Water
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • For the batter, add chickpea flour, turmeric, red chilli powder, ginger garlic green chilli paste, coriander leaves and water and mix well till the batter achieves medium consistency.
  • Coat cheese cubes in hot oil and fry till golden.
  • Cheese pakodas fry very quickly, so be careful that they don’t burn.
