Bhutte ka Kees | Grated Corn Stir Fry | Indore Street Food | Indian Street Food


What would be a walk in the rains without having a Bhutta (Roasted Corn). But if you’re a one who loves enjoying rains from the indoors, then head to the kitchen and make Bhutte ka Kees – a street style speciality of corn found in Indore.



Ingredients:


  • 1 bowl Sweet Corn
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
  • Pinch of Red Chilli Powder
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Lime Juice
  • Coriander Leaves for garnish


Method:


1.      Coarsely ground sweet corn kernels in a mixer grinder.

2.      Heat oil in a pan and mustard seeds and let it splutter.

3.      Now add asafoetida, red chilli powder and turmeric.

4.      Now add the grated corn and mix well.

5.      Add lime juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
