Give a Chinese twist to your Idli
with Idli Chilli Fry.
Ingredients:
- 10 leftover Idli
- 1 cup Corn Flour
- 8-10 Garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
- 2 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
- 4 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 1 cup Spring Onion
- Coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Pinch of Turmeric
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
Method:
- Cut Idli into long pieces.
- Take corn flour and mix it with little water and salt to make slurry.
- Dip the Idli pieces in slurry and deep fry till golden brown.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan.
- Switch off the flame and add garlic, red chilli sauce, Schezwan sauce, tomato ketchup, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt and mix well.
- Add fried Idli, spring onion and coriander leaves and mix well.
